Bandol is the inspiration here, and it's very much French in style, with astonishingly vivid acids matching the ripe Grenache/Mourvedre fruit - in part because it was picked at 2am so the grapes came to the winery cold, fresh, and perfect for pink. Cherry, watermelon rind, grapefruit, nectarine, rose petal, peach - pretty much all the aromas and flavors you hope. Plus zesty acids that lift the mid-palate and drive the mouthwatering, very long, finish. Seriously good, one of the best 2019s we'll bring you this year.
