Sam Vinciullo Red 2017
A wild blend of Semillon and Merlot sourced from Biodynamic farms in Margaret River, Western Australia. Sam Vinciullo has an impressive resume including stints in California, Australia, and perhaps most notably with Frank Cornelissen on Mount Etna.
This Red/White blend has the fruity and soft structure of Merlot and the crazy jalapeno characteristics that Semillon sometimes exhibits in warmer climates. Vinciullo will release his first vintage of wine made with his own grapes in 2018. This is one of the wines that make us so excited for the future of natural wine in Australia. No sulfur, no fining, no filtering.
