This expression from Amrut is India’s first Madeira cask finish single malt whisky!
To create it, Amrut handpicked barrels from the Portuguese island that would complement its whisky's profile. 4,800 bottles were produced.
Nose: Desiccated coconut, creamy vanilla and rich toffee, with a little marzipan and bitter orange.
Palate: Rounded nutty toffee, stewed orchard fruits and manuka honey, with toasted almonds underneath. Finish: Long, with some delicate citrus notes.
